The first one just completely disappeared from the draft section and the second one when trying to post, said there was an error uploading and i clicked the big ‘x’ on the right and it gave me an option to ‘remove’ or ‘cancel’, i clicked cancel and then after i went to go check my drafts again and the second one was gone as well!

All my drafts for reels are gone, just not there anymore. To verify, open the instagram app, open the explore section and see if you can see the reels of others in the explore, if the instagram reels shows up, then move back to the above section and follow the steps to make reels on instagram. So then i saw that instagram needed updating.i figured that might be the problem.updated it.
